My husband's coworker told us about this place and we drove 40 minutes to try it out. I would definitely come back. The food is amazing, atmosphere is great, and the service was fantastic. Very friendly people.

VERY GOOD food, in an unexpected location!! It's in the shopping area, right near the Hannaford, in Highland.
The owner is VERY NICE AND SO SWEET!!
We did a pickup order, got home, and we were given the wrong item, it was a lower priced item than the one we had ordered.
I called and spoke to the owner, Nayoba, and she realized the mistake and took care of the issue right away!!
All of our food was VERY TASTY, WELL PREPARED AND FLAVORFUL!!
We've had the Shawarma, Chicken Shish Kabob, Potato Perogies, Uzbek Vegetable Pilov, and...
I would especially recommend trying the "Alons Crispy Potato Wedges" as a side 😋

We wanted to go out for a family lunch after my son's recital. Since he is learning Russian- I thought this place would be fun! Amazing halal restaurant in the area! We ordered the Rosemary Naan, Shurpa Soup, Uzbek Pilov, Lagman Rameen, Manti, Salmon, Baklava, Kompot Punch and Tea. The owners chatted with us the entire time like we were eating at a friend's house! Great find!

This was our 1st experience with Uzbek food. Delicious fresh flavors! The owners were kind and hospitable, teaching us what is best to try! Clean, delicious with reasonable prices. We will go back for sure.

It is always a pleasure for me to try food from different cultures in the world. It was lucky for me and my friend to find this restaurant after we visited the FDR library that same day. Life always rewards us with surprises!

I’ve been to Alons Halal Uzbek Grill a few times now, and the leg of lamb I got today was one of the best things I’ve had from them. Super tender, great flavor, and cooked perfectly all the way through. These guys are really consistent — every time I come, the food hits. Portions are solid, service is quick, and the quality never drops. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

Love this place! The food is delicious that I had to go back just to have it one last time before my last day here in the town for short visit. Everything I tried was delicious but lamb shank is must.

What a great find! We tried the Uzbek Lagman, Uzbek Pilov, and Chicken Over Rice, and each had its own distinct taste, all very good. The portions were generous, the prices reasonable, and the gentleman who seemed to be the owner was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was spotless, including the restroom, which says a lot about how well the place is cared for. Our friend visiting from Serbia was also very impressed. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by this place randomly, service was excellent, had gyro sandwich, 2 types of soup, kebabs, salads and tea with lemon and fruits. Everything was so fresh and amazingly delicious. Chicken kebabs were so soft and tender, gyro sandwich was awesome with homemade sauce. Kids loved potato wedgies which they make in house with clean ingredients. Definitely recommend.
